10th Results 2012 AP (SSC Results)
Every year SSC Board Exams are conducted by Board of Secondary School Certificate Education of Andhra Pradesh. The SSC Examinations started on 26th March 2012.Around 18 Lakh students have appeared in the 2012.

Girl students exceed boys in the CBSC (Central Board of Secondary Education) 10th class examinations, the results of which were released on 24/05/2012.
Girls scored a pass percentage of 98.48 against the 97.98 pass percentage for boys. Overall the pass percentage (98.19) was greater than the pass percentage (96.61) of 2011
SSC Grading System
Andhra Pradesh Board of Secondary (SSC) newly introduced the Grading System for result of 2012. With this change students awarded grades and grade point average instead of marks.

Common Entrance Exam for MBBS, MD Courses from 2013
Health Ministry officials declared that the common exams for admission to MBBS and MD courses all over the country will be held from the next academic session.
The officials told that the proposed common tests, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate (NEET-UG) and Postgraduate (NEET-PG) medical courses, have been notified for commencement from 2013-14.
“The common entrance tests for admission to MBBS and MD courses have been notified on February 25, this year for commencement from academic year 2013-14,” they said.
The NEET for admission to UG courses would be conducted by the CBSE and the NEET for PG courses would be carried out by the National Board of Examinations, they said.
The tests, earlier notified by the Medical Council of India (MCI), were to be first conducted from the current session but have been postponed due to lack of preparedness on its part, they said.
The officials said a committee constituted by the MCI was preparing curriculum for the course which is proposed to be conducted by medical schools attached to districts hospitals. The duration of the course would be three years, with an internship of six months, they said.

- Total 3,89,654 candidates have registered for the exam
- 2, 94,131 will be taking the engineering exam to be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- 95,523 candidates will be appearing for the medicine stream to be held from 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
- Candidates will be permitted into the examination hall at 9.15 a.m. for the engineering exam
- Candidates will be permitted into the examination hall at 1.45 p.m. for the medical stream.
- They will not be allowed to leave till the end of the exam.
- All the candidates need to get a “Filled-in Online application form” and submit it in the examination hall or else their results will be withheld.
- Students of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes have to get a photocopy of their caste certificate and submit it in the exam hall.
Candidates' name, father's name, date of birth and photograph are printed on the OMR Answer Sheet and candidates need to check that correct OMR sheet is given to them. If the data is wrongly printed a buffer OMR answer sheet will be given where details have to be filled.
All the candidates will be supplied with an HB pencil that has to be used to darken the circles in the answer sheet. Light shading of circles may not be detected by the computer. Electronic gadgets like mobiles, calculators and Mathematical log tables will not permitted into the examination Hall.
The OMR answer sheet, question paper booklet data card, filled-in online application form along with photocopy of caste certificate in case of SC/ST students have to be submitted to Invigilators after the exam. The question paper booklet can be taken away by the candidate.

Osmania University has issued notification for Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (AP-SET)-2012. The test will be held on 27-07-2012 (Friday) for 24 subjects in 12 centres in the State.

Karnataka CET 2012 Revised Schedule Notification
The Karnataka Common Entrance Test -2012 scheduled to be held on 03-05-2012 and 04-05-2012 and Kannada Language Test on 05-05-2012 is postponed due to unavoidable reasons.
Candidates are requested to note the changed time table and appear for the examination accordingly. The admission tickets will be sent to all the candidates on or after 11-05-2012 to their respective colleges / home address as the case may be. Provision will also be made to download the admission tickets from the KEA website http://kea.kar.nic.in the CET-2012 results will be published on 06-06-2012. Verification of documents at helpline centres will commence from 13-06-2012. The schedules notified in the CET-2012 brochure for counseling and for other programmes will remain unchanged.
